Sweet and Tangy Chana Salad

Kala chana is an excellent source of plant-based protein, making it a valuable addition to vegetarian and vegan diets. Protein is essential for muscle repair, growth, and overall health.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Boiled chana (Soak Kala chana for 7-8 hr. overnight) and boil in the morning
  • 1 small Chopped onion
  • 1 medium sized boiled potato
  • 1 Chopped cucumber
  • 1 Chopped tomato
  • ¼ tsp pomegranate
  • 1-2 Green chilies (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp.Pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tsp.Sunflower seeds
  • 2 Finely chopped dates or 5-8 Raisins

Seasoning

  • Mint and coriander chutney
  • ½ tsp Roasted zeera powder
  • ½ tsp Chaat Masala
  • Black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Direction

  • In Large bowl add all the above ingredients and mix well.
  • Garnish with pomegranate and serve according to your taste.
