Ash Gourd juice is good for you gut, reduces cholesterol and is the right choice for weight watchers. It is a perfect vegetable juice to start your day.
Ingredients:
- A bowl of peeled and sliced ash gourd (Appox.800 gm to 1000 gm)
- Half a lemon
- A small cube of ginger
- 5-6 mint leaves
Method:
- Put the slices of ash gourd into the juicer and churn
- Keep adding mint leaves in between
- Add some ginger
- Pour the ready juice into a glass
- Squeeze some lemon juice into on top
- You may garnish it with some mint leaves

- Have the ash gourd juice on empty stomach early in the morning or before breakfast for best results. You can also include it as mid meal to satisfy hunger pangs.
- Ash Gourd juice is a perfect substitute for bottle gourd juice during monsoons and winters.
