Oat milk can be a good substitute for cow’s milk. It’s healthy, low fat, dairy free and vegan.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup whole rolled oats
- 3 cups water
- 1 Pinch Sea salt
Direction
- Soak the oats in water for at least 30 minutes.
- Drain the oats and wash them. Discard the soaking water.
- Blend the oats with 3 cups of clean water in a blender.
- Strain the milk using a strainer.
- Oat milk will stay fresh in a sealed container.

One can flavor it with vanilla extract or cinnamon powder
