Ash Gourd Juice

Ash Gourd juice is good for you gut, reduces cholesterol and is the right choice for weight watchers. It is a perfect vegetable juice to start your day.

 

Ingredients:

  • A bowl of peeled and sliced ash gourd (Appox.800 gm to 1000 gm)
  • Half a lemon
  • A small cube of ginger
  • 5-6 mint leaves

Method:

  1. Put the slices of ash gourd into the juicer and churn
  2. Keep adding mint leaves in between
  3. Add some ginger
  4. Pour the ready juice into a glass
  5. Squeeze some lemon juice into on top
  6. You may garnish it with some mint leaves

DCN TIP

  1. Have the ash gourd juice on empty stomach early in the morning or before breakfast for best results. You can also include it as mid meal to satisfy hunger pangs.
  2. Ash Gourd juice is a perfect substitute for bottle gourd juice during monsoons and winters.
