Green Besan Chilla

This humble chilla has been made into a greener and healthier version with the introduction of spinach. Try it for the Popeye effect!


  • ½ cup gram flour
  • Green chili chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • Turmeric powder
  • Fresh chopped 10-12 leaves of spinach
  • Black pepper
  • Water
  • Salt


    1. Take besan in a bowl and add all the ingredients like onion, green chili, turmeric powder, chopped spinach, salt and black pepper along with water.
    2. Make a smooth batter.
    3. Prepare chilla on a non-stick tawa.
    4. Serve it hot and enjoy!
