Beetroot Tikki

Beetroot tikki/cutlet is a colourful, healthy yet delicious snack that will surely be a hit with your kids. It can be had as an appetizer or combined with other food items like the chilla and soup to make a complete meal.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Medium size beetroot (boiled and grated)
  • 2 Boiled potatoes (Mashed)
  • 2 Tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 Chopped green chilli
  • 5-6 Curry leaves (chopped)
  • Small cube ginger (grated)
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Til (for coating)

Directions:

  1. Mix all of the above ingredients expect til.
  2. Divide into equal parts and shape into tikkis.
  3. Coat with raw til seeds.
  4. Use air fryer or shallow fryer on tawa with mustard oil.
