This Besan milk builds your immunity and gives you relief from cold & cough.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp ghee
- 2-4 almonds
- 2 tsp Besan flour
- 1 cup milk
- Seeds of 1 cardamom pod
- Two strands of saffron crushed (optional)
- 1 tsp jaggery or shakkar
Instructions
- Melt ghee in a saucepan.
- Add besan flour and roast it on very low flame till it turns slightly browned and smells nutty.
- Add cardamom seeds, saffron, Almonds and milk and whisk to make a roux without any lumps. Cook till the mixture is slightly thickened.
- Add jaggery or shakkar.
- Switch off, Serve warm.
DCN TIP
One can use almond milk in place of regular milk, but then skip adding almonds.
