This is my mother’s traditional recipe, that I am sharing with you. These laddos are more like an ayurvedic medicine especially for women and elders.
Packed with the goodness of winter ingredients, it is a cure for arthritis, back and joint pains. It also helps to relieve cold sores, cure calcium deficiency and issues related to osteoporosis. It helps relieve inflammation and other women related issues also.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup methi powder
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup shakkar
- ¼ cup almond powder
- 4 tbsp grated coconut
- 1 tsp goond
- 1 tbsp pumpkin powder
- 1 tbsp flax seed powder
- ½ cup desi ghee
Direction
- Knead flour of methi. Use milk to knead the methi flour and keep it aside overnight.
- Grate the above and roast for 5 mins with 1 tbsp desi ghee
- Deep fry goond in ghee, grind it make to powder.
- Dry roast atta separately.
- Mix all the above ingredients along with almond powder, grated coconut, pumpkin powder and flax seed powder, add hot desi ghee that is left over.
- Make ladoos and eat one every day for best results.
