Sauté Beetroot Salad

Beets are a good source of fiber, which benefits your digestive health and reduces the risk of several chronic health conditions.

Cooking time: 15 Mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 Table spoon urad dal (Soaked for 2 hours)
  • 1 Table spoon chana dal (Soaked for 2 hours)
  • 1 Cup beetroot (½ inch chopped)
  • 7-8 Curry leaves
  • ½ teaspoon oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 2 tablespoon curd
  • Mustard

Method:

  • Take frying pan, heat oil, and put mustard seeds.
  • Let them crackle and add curry leaves.
  • Add soaked dal and sauté for 5 mins.
  • Then add beetroot and sauté. Now add salt. Close the flames then add lemon and curd and cover the lid for 2 mins.
  • Serve hot.
