Beat the summer heat, with this cooling, refreshing drink made with cucumber, yogurt and mint, packed with healthy benefits.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup fresh yoghurt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 small cucumber peeled and cut into cubes
  • ½ tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 4 cubes crushed ice
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat masala/roasted jeera powder
  • Black pepper
  • Sprigs of mint to garnish

Method:

  • Mix all the ingredients, chaat masala, mint and black pepper. Blend the mix in a blender or food processor till smooth.
  • Pour into a tall, chilled glass and sprinkle with a pinch of chaat masala and black pepper.
  • Garnish with a spring of mint and serve immediately.
